For what purpose do we process your personal data?

At Europamundo, we process the personal data you provide for the following purposes:

1. To fulfill the obligation to provide information and obtain the consents required by the new European regulations on the protection of personal data.
2. To act as an intermediary in the sale of tickets or the booking of seats on all types of transport, the reservation of accommodation and services with tourism providers, and the organization and sale of travel packages—whether through retail agencies or directly to end customers.
3. To send commercial communications regarding our products or services, unless you express your objection by any means. In any case, providing authorization to process your data for this purpose is voluntary; choosing not to provide it simply means you will not receive commercial offers for our products or services.

What data do we process?

In the context of providing the services offered by Europamundo—and within the limits and for the purposes to which you have consented—Europamundo will only process data that is strictly necessary for the proper management of the contractual relationship and/or the provision of the requested services.

Europamundo will only use the data you have provided for as long as the contractual and/or commercial relationship remains in effect. Subsequently, we will retain this data for a period of four years, in compliance with tax regulations, or for as long as necessary to fulfill legal obligations and address any potential liabilities arising from the purpose for which the data was collected.

However, if you provide your authorization, Europamundo will continue to retain your information in order to send you commercial communications that we believe may be of interest to you, such as promotions, discounts, new routes, etc.

In any case, you may always exercise the rights granted to you under current regulations by contacting us through the channel most convenient for you.

The Europamundo Audio application accesses your device’s geolocation exclusively to provide location-based features. The data is processed in real time, is not stored on our servers, and is under no circumstances transferred to third parties.

What is the legal basis for the processing of your data?

The law authorizes Europamundo to process your data within the framework of the contractual relationship existing between you and our company. In particular, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD—on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights, which adapts Spanish law to the GDPR and expands digital rights for citizens) are applicable. At Europamundo, we value your trust; therefore, we keep you informed at all times about the data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it, always requesting your express consent.

To whom will your data be disclosed?

Data will not be shared with third parties, except in cases where there is a legal obligation or an appropriate legal basis for doing so.

Depending on the services you have contracted with us, Europamundo may be required to share your data with third parties (such as hotels, airlines, train or ferry operators, etc.). In some instances, these third parties may be located outside the European Economic Area (international transfers); in such cases, we will take the necessary measures to ensure the security and proper processing of your data.

Furthermore, to ensure the proper provision of services (e.g., web hosting, technical support, email marketing, etc.), various service providers engaged by our company may have access to the personal information necessary to perform their functions. These third-party services are essential to our operations, and any data processing carried out by these providers is governed by a contract that binds them to our organization.

Under no circumstances may the third parties to whom we have provided your personal data use that information for purposes other than those for which it was specifically disclosed.
