Welcome to Mexico! Upon arrival, we’ll provide a transfer to the hotel, after which you will have free time. Our guide will contact you late in the afternoon.
IMPORTANT: If you requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival at the hotel, but your trip guide will only contact you when the included activities begin. Until then, you’ll have free time to enjoy at your leisure.

Mexico City.-
08:30 a.m. – Today we have a fantastic day ahead to explore Mexico. In the morning, we’ll head to the neighborhood of Xochimilco, a wonderful place known for its canals and semi-floating gardens, where we’ll enjoy a ride on a “trajinera”, colorful boats decorated with flowers.
Afterwards, we’ll take a panoramic tour of the city, visiting the Plaza of the Three Cultures, the historic downtown where we’ll see the Zócalo and its Metropolitan Cathedral, the Aztec Templo Mayor, Chapultepec Park, Paseo de la Reforma, and the main avenues of this impressive city.
We’ll have free time for lunch at the Zócalo in Mexico City.
After lunch, we’ll visit the Basilica of Guadalupe, the most visited Catholic shrine in the Americas, home to the Virgin of Guadalupe. There, we’ll see both the old 18th-century basilica and the modern temple.
6:00 p.m. – Return to the hotel.
9:00 p.m. – In the evening, we’ll head to Plaza Garibaldi (transfer included), famous for its many cantinas, restaurants, and bars where tacos and tequila are served and Mariachi bands fill the night with music. Dinner is included at a typical Mexican restaurant, where we’ll toast with a tequila and enjoy traditional Mariachi songs.

Mexico City - Mina de las Dos Estrellas – Tlalpujahua – Pátzcuaro
Total distance covered: 372 km
Scenery: We’ll travel through the mountains of central Mexico, passing forested valleys filled with pines and oaks — a landscape where nature and mining history intertwine.
7:30 a.m. – Mexico City – Departure.
We’ll leave the capital behind and head into the green landscapes of the State of Mexico. A mountain route will take us to our first destination.
11:15 a.m. – Mina de las Dos Estrellas – Arrival.
We’ll visit this fascinating site museum, located in a former gold mine, where we’ll learn about the lives of the miners and the technological advances of their time. Admission included.
12:30 p.m. – Mina de las Dos Estrellas – Departure.
We’ll continue our journey through mountain landscapes, temporary home of the monarch butterfly.
12:45 p.m. – Tlalpujahua – Arrival.
This charming Pueblo Mágico in the state of Michoacán welcomes us with its year-round Christmas atmosphere, famous for its handcrafted blown-glass ornaments. The highlight here is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Carmen, featuring a Baroque façade in pink stone. We’ll have time to enjoy lunch and stroll through the cobblestone streets, lined with shops displaying Santa Claus figures all year long.
2:45 p.m. – Tlalpujahua – Departure.
Our route will take us through mountains and Purépecha lands on the way to our final destination.
5:30 p.m. – Pátzcuaro – Arrival.
We’ll take a panoramic tour of one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Mexico, where pre-Hispanic heritage blends with colonial architecture. Its tree-lined plazas, the lake that shares its name, and its craft markets give Pátzcuaro a truly unique atmosphere.
You’ll have free time to start exploring this gem of the Michoacán highlands.

Pátzcuaro- Morelia – Tlaquepaque- Guadalajara.-
Total distance covered: 351 km
Scenery: We’ll travel through the heart of western Mexico, crossing gentle hills, cultivated fields, and beautiful lakes, discovering towns rich in history and monumental cities.
8:30 a.m. – Pátzcuaro – Departure. We’ll leave this colonial gem behind and head toward one of the most important capitals in the country, passing through the characteristic landscapes of the Michoacán highlands.
9:30 a.m. – Morelia – Arrival. The capital of the state of Michoacán, Morelia is considered one of Mexico’s most beautiful cities for its impressive pink-stone architecture. Its historic center, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is filled with majestic Baroque buildings and tree-lined plazas. Highlights include its Cathedral, with its tablerado Baroque style and twin towers over 60 meters high, the Plaza de Armas, and the University of Morelia, one of the oldest in the Americas, founded in 1540. There will be free time to stroll and enjoy lunch in one of its traditional restaurants or cafés.
2:00 p.m. – Morelia – Departure. We’ll continue our journey toward Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco.
6:00 p.m. – Tlaquepaque. Before arriving in Guadalajara, we’ll stop in Tlaquepaque, one of the Pueblos Mágicos located near the city. Enjoy free time to wander through its charming streets filled with Mariachi music, live performances, artisan shops, and a wide variety of local cuisine.
8:00 p.m. – Tlaquepaque – Departure.
8:30 p.m. – Guadalajara – Arrival. We’ll arrive in one of Mexico’s most vibrant cities, the birthplace of Mariachi and Tequila. Its historic center blends colonial architecture, lively plazas, and a unique cultural atmosphere.

Guadalajara- Tequila- Guadalajara.-
Total distance covered: 140 km.
Scenery: We’ll journey through the fertile valleys of the state of Jalisco, with sweeping views of the blue agave fields—recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for their cultural significance in tequila production.
09:00 a.m. – In the morning, we’ll take a panoramic tour of Guadalajara, a city that blends modernity with deep-rooted traditions. We’ll explore its elegant historic center and admire landmarks such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, Plaza Tapatía, the traditional San Juan de Dios Market, and the impressive Hospicio Cabañas (admission included), a UNESCO World Heritage Site housing murals by José Clemente Orozco.
12:00 p.m. – Departure from Guadalajara. We’ll travel by road toward the picturesque town of Tequila, birthplace of one of Mexico’s most iconic beverages.
02:00 p.m. – Tequila. Arrival in this colorful town that preserves its traditional charm with cobbled streets, vibrant facades, and surrounding agave plantations. We’ll visit the renowned Mundo Cuervo distillery, where we’ll learn about the artisanal process of tequila production (admission and tasting included). After the visit, you’ll have time to explore the town, browse its local shops, and enjoy lunch at one of its traditional restaurants.
Note: Upon arrival in Tequila, the bus cannot enter the historic center; a walk of approximately 20 minutes will be required.
05:30 p.m. – Departure from Tequila. We’ll begin our return journey to the Jalisco capital, once again enjoying the scenic agave landscape.
07:00 p.m. – Guadalajara. Arrival with free time to continue exploring the city, do some shopping, or enjoy its lively nightlife.
Note: During high season, the distillery visit may be scheduled in the morning, in which case the order of visits will be adjusted without altering the planned content.

Guadalajara- Mexico City
Total distance covered: 550 km.
Scenery: During our journey from Guadalajara to Mexico City, we will cross vast agricultural plains, plateaus and colorful towns that portray the essence of the Mexican countryside, between gentle mountains and volcanic landscapes on the horizon.
Guadalajara – After breakfast, transfer to the bus station. We will begin our journey by regular bus (luxury category), enjoying a comfortable and panoramic ride to the capital.
