Welcome to Mexico! Upon arrival, we’ll provide a transfer to the hotel, after which you will have free time. Our guide will contact you late in the afternoon.
IMPORTANT: If you requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival at the hotel, but your trip guide will only contact you when the included activities begin. Until then, you’ll have free time to enjoy at your leisure.

Mexico City - Teotihuacan - Mexico City
Total distance covered: 90 km.
Scenery: We will travel through the central highlands of Mexico, between urban areas and semi-arid fields, until we reach the imposing plain where the pyramids of Teotihuacán stand, framed by hills and maguey vegetation.
08.45 a.m. Mexico City – Departure after breakfast. We will begin our tour with a brief stop at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, where pre-Hispanic vestiges, colonial architecture and modern elements converge. We will continue towards the northeast until we reach one of the most emblematic archaeological sites in the country.
10:30 a. m. Teotihuacan (entrance included) – Arrival. We will explore the ancient sacred city, declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. We will visit the majestic Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the temple of Quetzalpapálotl, the citadel and the Avenue of the Dead. We will also visit a craft center where we will learn about ancient techniques for making obsidian and other typical materials.
Teotihuacan – Departure, back to the capital. Before returning to Mexico City, we will make a special visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of America and main pilgrimage center on the continent, where we will contemplate its modern architecture and the original cloak of Lady of Guadalupe.
Return to the hotel and rest of the day free.

Mexico City - Puebla
Total distance covered: 135 km.
Scenery: During our journey from the capital, we’ll travel across the vast Mexican plateau dotted with towns and distant views of the Popocatépetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes, mythical figures of the central landscape of Mexico.
01:30 p.m. Arrival in Mexico City (approx.) After lunch, transfer to the bus station is included. We’ll travel by regular bus to Puebla, an urban area of 1.5 million inhabitants.
04:30 p.m. Arrival at Puebla station and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, free time to explore this city founded in 1531, famous for its colonial architecture, its ornate churches and rich history. The city is an important cultural and gastronomic center declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It has a vibrant university life. You will have time to get to know this city at your own leisure, its great cathedral, the Palafoxiana library (the first public library in America, founded in 1646), the street of sweets (with its typical sweet shops), the alley of the toads (with its antiques), etc.

Puebla - Ex Hacienda Chautla - Val Quirico - Puebla
Total distance covered: 105 km
Scenery: Along the route we will pass through the fertile valleys of the Puebla highlands, dotted with crop fields and volcanoes that rise majestically on the horizon, such as the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl.
11:10 a.m. Puebla – Incorporation at the Plaza del Zócalo and meetup with the passengers who will join the circuit at this location.
11:30 a.m. Puebla – We´ll head to the northwest of the country, where we’ll travel along tree-lined roads towards one of the most emblematic spaces in the rural history of the region.
12:30 p.m. Former “Hacienda de Chautla” – Arrival. This historic 19th century property, famous for its role in the production of pulque and its pioneering energy infrastructure, is today a venue that evokes times of colonial splendor. We will tour the center of the hacienda and its museum, and those who wish will be able to enjoy optional activities at an additional cost, such as a boat ride or recreational fishing.
02:30 p.m. Former “Hacienda de Chautla” Departure to the next destination, an enclave that combines history and modernity.
03:00 p.m. Val’Quirico – Arrival. Inspired by the villages of the Italian Tuscany, this touristic attraction offers a sensory experience among cobblestone streets, lavender fields and evocative architecture. We will have free time to have lunch and explore the local boutiques, galleries and terraces at our own pace.
05:30 p.m. Val’Quirico. Departure.
06:15 p.m. Puebla. Arrival and free time to enjoy this lively city.

Puebla - Cholula - Cheese Route - Atlixco - Puebla
Total distance covered: 110 Km
Scenery: We will enjoy views of the fertile valley of Puebla, framed by imposing volcanoes and dotted with flowering fields, orchards and picturesque towns with traditional architecture.
Note: To climb the glass viewpoint in Atlixco, good physical condition is required. It is not recommended for people with reduced mobility. It is suggested to bring water and comfortable shoes.
11:10 a.m. Puebla – Incorporation at the Plaza del Zócalo and meeting with the passengers who join at this point. (see the itinerary they send, transfer is included)
11:30 a.m. Puebla – Departure heading south towards the municipality of Chipilo.
12:10 p.m. Chipilo – Arrival. This town founded by Italian migrants from Veneto has kept its traditions alive, especially in the production of dairy and sausages. We will visit a local producer where we will enjoy a tasting of artisanal cheese, while learning about the history and customs of the community.
12:30 p.m.: Chipilo – Departure towards Atlixco.
01:00 p.m. Atlixco – Arrival. This charming "Pueblo Mágico"(Magical Town), famous for its nursery gardens and spring-like weather, will welcome us with a tour of its Historic Center, Murals of the Wide Stairs, Floral Clock and the Crystal Viewpoint, where we´ll enjoy spectacular panoramic views. We will also have a tasting of Puebla´s mezcal and free time to have lunch and walk through its colorful streets.
04:00 p.m. Atlixco – Departure towards Cholula.
04:30 p.m. Cholula – Arrival. On this panoramic route we will visit San Francisco Acatepec, Santa María Tonantzintla, and the center of Cholula, where we´ll observe the Convent of San Gabriel and the Royal Chapel. Finally, we will descend into Soria Park, in front of the Great Pyramid of Cholula (entrance not included), its history will be narrated by our guide. We will climb to the sanctuary, enjoying the view.

Puebla - Monte Albán - Oaxaca
Total distance covered: 340 km.
Scenery: We’ll cross the southern mountain ranges of Mexico, passing dramatic highland landscapes, fertile valleys, and rural villages where ancient traditions are still alive.
07:30 a.m. – Departure from Puebla. We’ll leave the capital of the state of Puebla behind as we enter Oaxaca, a region known for its rich cultural, archaeological, and culinary heritage. The journey will take us through mountains, canyons, and sweeping natural scenery.
01:15 p.m. – Oaxaca. Arrival in the capital city of Oaxaca, renowned for its harmonious architecture and strong Indigenous identity. After lunch, we’ll head up to one of Mexico’s most iconic archaeological treasures: Monte Albán. Located 400 meters above the Oaxaca Valley, this ancient ceremonial center was the capital of the Zapotec civilization for over a thousand years. We’ll explore its platforms, pyramids, ball courts, and ornately decorated tombs while learning about the worldview and structure of this great civilization (admission and guided tour included).
After the visit, we’ll return to Oaxaca for a panoramic tour of its historic center, recognized as a World Heritage Site. We’ll admire its stunning Cathedral, the Church of Santo Domingo, and the lively plazas and colonial streets brimming with life. You’ll then have free time to continue enjoying the unique atmosphere of this city, also celebrated for its handicrafts, mezcal, and diverse traditional cuisine.

Oaxaca - San Pablo Villa de Mitla - Tuxtla
Total distance covered: 505 km.
Scenery: We’ll venture along one of the most scenic routes in southern Mexico, crossing the Oaxaca highlands, the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, and lush tropical landscapes that lead us to the heart of Chiapas.
Important Note:
Due to landslides caused by heavy rains, the main road to the Isthmus of Tehuantepec has sections closed to traffic. Consequently, alternative routes will be taken, which will extend the usual travel time. Therefore, departure from Oaxaca will take place earlier than scheduled, and breakfast will be provided in a Lunch Box format.
06:00 a.m. – Departure from Oaxaca. We’ll begin a day rich in cultural and natural beauty, traveling along roads that connect two states deeply rooted in the country’s Indigenous heritage.
07:15 a.m. – San Pablo Villa de Mitla. Arrival in this Pueblo Mágico, known for its ancestral traditions and distinctive adobe-and-stone architecture. It’s also famous for preserving remnants of the Zapotec culture. We’ll have time to walk around the Church of San Pablo, built in the 16th century atop an ancient ceremonial platform, and stroll through its rustic, charming streets.
08:15 a.m. – Departure from San Pablo Villa de Mitla. We’ll continue southeast, crossing the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, a key region in Mexico’s geography and culture. Lunch will be included en route.
06.45 p.m. – Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Arrival in the capital of Chiapas, a modern and dynamic city that blends urban life with natural beauty in its surroundings. Accommodation.

09.00 hrs.- We will explore the SUMDERO CANYON. Travelling by boat, we will travel for more than 1 hrs up this impressive canyon which is almost 1 km deep and 14 km long.
10.45 hrs.- Sumidero Canyon.- Departure.
11.00 hrs.- Next, we will walk through CHIAPA DEL CORZO, a white traditional and cultural colonial site. Time for a stroll and a coffee.
11.45 hrs.- Chiapa del Corzo. Departure. We enter into the center of the Mexican Mayan culture. We discover 2 beautiful villages inhabited by the Tzotzil Indians.
12.45 hrs.- In ZINACANTAN we can admire the dresses worn by the women and also their small loom workshop-shops.
13.45 hrs.- Zicacantan.- Departure.
14.15 hrs.- SAN JUAN CHAMULA we will be surprised by their church that mixes Christianity with pre-Columbian traditions. Time for lunch.
15.45 hrs.- San Juan Chamula.- Departure.
16.15 hrs.- We continue to SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS. Free afternoon in this beautiful colonial city founded in 1528.

San Cristobal - Agua Azul- Misol Ha- Palenque.-
Total distance covered: 225 km
Scenery: A journey through the beautiful mountain landscapes of Chiapas, passing areas inhabited by communities that have preserved their Mayan language and traditions.
Note: For this stage, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and footwear, and bringing insect repellent and sunscreen. Don’t forget to pack your swimsuit and towel — the natural setting of Agua Azul’s waterfalls and turquoise river is truly spectacular.
8:00 a.m. – San Cristóbal – Departure.
We’ll set out into the mountainous interior of Chiapas, traveling through lush jungle landscapes. Along the way, we’ll pass the Ocosingo region, the local capital.
1:15 p.m. – Agua Azul National Park – Arrival.
Entrance and lunch included. Afterwards, you’ll have time to walk or swim among more than 50 waterfalls, ranging from 3 to 30 meters in height.
4:30 p.m. – Agua Azul – Departure.
5:45 p.m. – Misol Ha – Arrival.
We’ll visit this impressive waterfall, where you can walk along the path behind the cascade and enjoy the surrounding nature.
7:00 p.m. – Misol Ha – Departure.
8:45 p.m. – Palenque – Arrival. Dinner included.
Note: In the Ocosingo region, occasional road closures may occur due to local social tensions.
Note: During the winter months (from November to late February), the Misol Ha waterfall will not be visited due to shorter daylight hours. Instead, we’ll spend more time exploring Agua Azul.

Palenque - Campeche.-

Scenery: Traveling across the Yucatán Peninsula, we’ll enjoy beautiful views along the Gulf of Mexico coastal highway.
8:00 a.m. – Palenque – Guided visit.
Entrance and guided tour included to the impressive archaeological site of Palenque.
This Mayan city, surrounded by lush jungle, reached its peak between 600 and 800 A.D.
During the visit, we’ll explore its temples, pyramids, and ancient ball court.
There will be free time for lunch afterward.
10:30 a.m. – Palenque – Departure.
We’ll travel toward the Gulf of Mexico, crossing the state of Tabasco.
5:00 p.m. – Campeche – Arrival.
We’ll arrive in this Mexican port city, known for its colonial buildings and 17th-century fortifications built to defend against pirate attacks. Dinner included.

Campeche - Mérida

Scenery: We’ll travel through the Yucatán Peninsula, passing flat landscapes dotted with lush vegetation and traditional villages along the way.
09:00 a.m. – Departure from Campeche. We’ll leave behind this coastal city and make our way into the state of Yucatán. In just over two hours, we’ll reach our destination.
11:30 a.m. – Mérida. Arrival in the vibrant capital of the state of Yucatán, a city rich in both colonial and Mayan heritage. We’ll visit the fortified Mérida Cathedral, the limestone Church of the Third Order, and the Montejo House—a 16th-century mansion that stands as a symbol of Spanish Plateresque colonial architecture.
Free afternoon. We suggest visiting the Museum of the Mayan World on your own.
In the evening, a transfer to the Zócalo will be included, so you can enjoy dinner and take in the lively atmosphere of the city.

09.15 hrs- IZAMAL- arrival to one of the prettiest cities in Mexico, declared a "Magic town".

11.30 hrs- CHICHEN ITZAN,- we include admission and a visit to the most important and renowned vestige of the Mayan civilization, a World Heritage Site where we see the mythical pyramid of Kukulcán and the warriors’ temple.
14.30 hrs - After the visit we include a Mayan cuisine lunch.
16.00 hrs- Chichen Itzan- We continue on our beautiful stage through the state of Yucatan.
18.15- RIO LAGARTOS, arrival to this small fishing village in the middle of a Biosphere Reserve.
Note: The hotel infrastructure in Rio Lagartos is very limited. Occasionally, we will have to provide accomodation in Valladolid. In that case, we will visit Valladolid on Sunday instead of Monday and spend more time in Rio Lagartos on Monday.

08.00 hrs.- We include a boat ride of more than two hours. We enter the biosphere reserve, where we can see crocodiles among its mangroves, lots of birds, including pelicans and pink flamingos. You can also "live the mud experience" by smearing mud with high concentrations of sulfur, minerals and salts that act as exfoliants for the skin, leaving a feeling of softness throughout the body.
11.30 hrs- Rio Lagartos, departure. We head to the interior of the peninsula.
14.00 hrs- VALLADOLID- arrival in the third largest city of the Yucatan with a very nice historical city center. We recommend that you have lunch in one of the restaurants in the main square.
16:00 hrs- Valladolid, departure.
17:00 hrs- CENOTE CHOJ HA. We will explore this Cenote managed by the local Mayan community. We will walk along a short trail in the jungle to visit the dry cave and swim in the wonderful lake inside the wet cave.
18:00 hrs- Cenote, departure. Continuation to Cancun.
