
Welcome to Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. You will receive information about the start of your tour in the afternoon, either directly or through the information board located at the reception of the hotel.

Check-in: Please note that hotel check-in time is usually at 02:00 p.m. If you need an earlier check in-in, please consider booking an additional night at the beginning of your trip.
Additional Nights: If you have requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival, however you will meet your tour guide when the scheduled activities begin. Until then, please feel free to enjoy the city at your leisure. At reception, you will find an information board with our team´s telephone number and details regarding the activities. If you need further assistance, the hotel staff is available to help at any time.
Optional Activities: During your trip, your guide may offer optional activities. If these activities are available on the Europamundo app or through your "My Trip" link, we strongly recommend booking them as early as possible to ensure availability. Waiting until the last minute may result in missed opportunities due to limited tickets, bus seats, or other factors.

Warsaw
09:00 a.m. – After breakfast, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour of Warsaw with a local guide. Home to nearly two million people, this political and economic hub of Poland boasts a blend of modern architecture and meticulously restored historic buildings. We’ll stroll through the charming old town, featuring many old buildings, the Royal Palace, and cobbled streets, all restored after their destruction in World War II and now declared a World Heritage Site. We’ll visit the Palace of Culture, a skyscraper gifted by the Soviet Union, reflect on the history of what was once the largest Jewish ghetto in Europe, and wander through Lazienki Park, home to the Chopin Monument.
You’ll have free time in the afternoon to visit museums, such as the National Museum and the Warsaw Rising Museum, or to explore the lively city center filled with shops and activities.

Warsaw - Kielce - Tarnow - Krakow
Total distance covered: 373 km.
Scenery: Pleasant green landscapes of Mazovia, hills, and forests.
08:00 a.m. – After breakfast, we’ll depart for the forested hills of the Lesser Poland region, also known as Małopolska in Polish.
10:30 a.m. – Kielce. We’ll stop in this lively town, founded in the 11th century, with an elegant center featuring the cathedral, the bishop´s palace, and beautiful garden areas. Time to explore the city and have lunch.
01:30 p.m. – Departure from Kielce. We’ll travel along small roads to enjoy the charming villages and landscapes as we travel through Lesser Poland.
03:30 p.m. – Tarnow. Time to visit this magnificent little town, founded in the 14th century, with its large central square, medieval streets, and a mix of Renaissance and Gothic buildings reflecting Polish, Jewish, and Hungarian influences. Before World War II, the Jewish community made up about half of the town´s population; its ethnographic museum serves as a reminder of the Roma community, who were persecuted during the war.
05:30 p.m. – Departure from Tarnow. We’ll continue toward Krakow.
07:00 p.m. – We’ll arrive in in Krakow by evening. We recommend taking a stroll through the lively Market Square.

Krakow – Kalwaria - Auschwitz – Warsaw
Total distance covered: 410 km
Scenery: Polish plains, agricultural areas.
At 8:00 a.m., we begin our approximately two-hour guided tour of Kraków with a local guide. This medieval city is home to the oldest university in Poland, where Copernicus once studied. We will visit the Main Market Square with its artisans, St. Mary’s Church, and the Royal Route, where we will see remnants of the old city walls. We will also visit Wawel Castle and Cathedral, where all members of the Polish royal family were crowned and buried. Free time to stroll around and have lunch.
1:30 p.m. – Kraków. Departure.
2:30 p.m. - Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. Brief stop to explore this small town known as ´the Calvary´, set in a beautiful landscape, and famous for its complex of monasteries and chapels, as a pilgrimage destination and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
3:45 p.m. - Departure from Kalwaria Zebrzydowska.
4:45 p.m. – Auschwitz II-Birkenau. We arrive at one of the most somber places in European history: the Nazi concentration and extermination camp, where more than one million people lost their lives during World War II. We will visit Camp II-Birkenau, where trains arrived from all over Europe.
6:30 p.m. – Departure from Auschwitz and continue our journey toward the center of the country, crossing vast plains, farmlands and forests. We will stop on the way for dinner.
10:45 p.m. – Warsaw. Arrival in Poland´s capital at the end of the day.

Note: Please be aware that the hotel check-out time is usually 10:00 a.m. You can leave your luggage in reception upon check-out, allowing you to explore the city without carrying your bags. You can retrieve your luggage at your convenience later in the day. If you require additional time to use your room, we recommend booking an extra night at the end of your tour.
