Welcome to Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

Check-in: Please note that hotel check-in time is usually at 02:00 p.m. If you require earlier room availability, consider booking an additional night at the beginning of your trip.

Additional Nights: If you requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival at the hotel, but your trip guide will only contact you when the included activities begin. At the reception, you will find an information board with our staff’s telephone number and hours of assistance. Until then, you have free time to enjoy at your leisure. The hotel staff can assist you with any information you need.

Optional Activities: During your trip, your guide may offer optional activities. If these activities are available on the Europamundo app or through your "My Trip" link, we strongly recommend booking them as early as possible to ensure availability. Waiting until the last minute may result in missed opportunities due to limited tickets, bus seats, or other factors.

Vienna

09:00 a.m. - We’ll begin our panoramic tour of Vienna, guided by a local expert. This two-and-a-half-hour tour will showcase the famous Ringstrasse, Vienna’s main boulevard, the Opera House, the exterior of the Hofburg Palace, the Prater Gardens, Belvedere Palace, and the University. The tour will conclude at Schönbrunn Palace. Guests who wish to visit the palace can do so (tickets not included), while others will be transported back to the city center. We’ll make two stops during the tour.

07:00 p.m. - We’ll provide a transfer to Town Hall Square, where you can enjoy the evening lights and the vibrant atmosphere of the surrounding streets. Our guide will help you get acquainted with the area.

09:30 p.m. - Return to the hotel.

Vienna – Krems - Durnstein - Spitz - Melk - St Florian - Linz

Total distance covered: 224 km

Scenery: Following the course of the Danube, we will travel through the romantic Wachau Valley, with gentle vineyard-covered hills, picturesque medieval villages, and river views that have inspired artists and poets for centuries.

8:30 a.m – Vienna – Departure. We leave the Austrian capital behind and head into the charming Wachau Valley, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

10:00 a.m. – Krems – Arrival and brief stop. One of Austria’s oldest towns, Krems stands out for its well-preserved medieval center, Baroque houses, and charming narrow streets.

11:00 a.m. – Krems – Departure. We continue along a small road following the Danube.

11:15 a.m. – Dürnstein – Arrival. Time for a stroll through this idyllic village surrounded by vineyards, with colorful houses and a romantic atmosphere. Here stand the ruins of the castle where Richard the Lionheart was once imprisoned.

12:15 p.m. – Dürnstein – Departure, continuing through the Danube Valley.

1:00 p.m. – Melk – Arrival. Free time for lunch. Afterwards, we will visit Melk Abbey (admission and guided visit included), one of the great masterpieces of European Baroque architecture, renowned for its monumental library, Marble Hall, and magnificent gardens. (Note: the interior visit may be conducted with an English-speaking guide.)

3:30 p.m. – Melk – Departure. We continue our journey through rural landscapes to our next stop.

4:45 p.m. – St. Florian – Arrival. Brief stop to admire the exterior of its magnificent Augustinian abbey, one of the most important in Austria.

5:45 p.m. – St. Florian – Departure.

6:15 p.m. – Linz – Arrival. Arrival in Austria’s third-largest city, Linz, which combines tradition and modernity on the banks of the Danube. Free time to stroll through its charming historic center and the lively Hauptplatz.

7:45 p.m. – Transfer to the hotel.

Linz- Gmunden- Ebensee- St Wolfgang- Salzburg

Total distance covered: 154 km

Scenery: Today will be our “Lake Day”, as we explore the heart of the Salzkammergut Lake District, surrounded by Alpine mountains, lush forests, and crystal-clear waters that reflect Austria’s natural charm.

Note: Comfortable clothing, suitable walking shoes, and a camera are recommended to capture the beautiful lake landscapes.

8:30 a.m. – Linz – Departure. We will travel through gentle hills and green valleys towards the Traunsee region.

9:45 a.m. – Gmunden – Arrival. Arrival in this elegant summer resort on the northern shore of Lake Traunsee, known for its lakeside Ort Castle and refined 19th-century villas.

11:30 a.m. – Lake Traunsee Cruise. After some time at leisure, we will enjoy a scenic cruise of approximately one hour on Lake Traunsee, sailing among Alpine peaks and stately lakeside villas.

12:25 p.m. – Ebensee – Disembarkation. From this peaceful lakeside town, we resume our journey through the Salzkammergut landscapes.

1:00 p.m. – St. Wolfgang – Arrival. This charming village, considered one of the most beautiful in Austria, preserves its Alpine atmosphere with cobblestone streets and flower-adorned houses. Free time for lunch and to enjoy the surroundings of Lake Wolfgangsee, a traditional pilgrimage site since the Middle Ages.

3:00 p.m. – St. Wolfgang – Departure. We continue through forested valleys towards one of the country’s great destinations.

4:00 p.m. – Salzburg – Arrival. Free afternoon in this Baroque jewel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We suggest exploring its perfectly preserved historic center with medieval squares and Renaissance churches, visiting Mozart’s birthplace, ascending to Hohensalzburg Fortress, or relaxing in the Mirabell Gardens.

7:30 p.m. – Transfer to the hotel.

Salzburg - Salzwelten – Zeel Am See – Krimml – Innsbruck

Total distance covered: 260 km

Scenery: Today is our “Mountain Scenery Day.” We will travel through some of Austria’s most spectacular natural settings, featuring majestic mountains, glacial valleys, and crystal-clear lakes.

Note: Comfortable, sturdy footwear is recommended for the visit to the Krimml Waterfalls.

8:30 a.m. – Salzburg – Departure. We leave the city of Mozart behind and head into the Austrian Alps.

9:00 a.m. – Salzwelten – Arrival. Arrival at the world’s oldest salt mines still in operation. The visit includes an underground train ride, a boat trip on a subterranean salt lake, and historic tunnels, revealing the secrets of the Alps’ “white gold.”

10:45 a.m. – Salzwelten – Departure. We continue towards the region’s most picturesque Alpine valleys.

12:15 p.m. – Zell am See – Arrival. Arrival in this charming town on the shores of Lake Zell, surrounded by high peaks and blending natural beauty with medieval heritage. Free time for lunch, strolling through the historic center, and enjoying the lakeside setting.

2:15 p.m. – Zell am See – Departure. We enter Hohe Tauern National Park, a paradise of unspoiled nature.

3:15 p.m. – Krimml – Arrival. Accompanied by our guide, we will take a walk of approximately 15 minutes to admire the Krimml Waterfalls (admission included). With a total height of 380 meters spread over three impressive cascades, they are a natural wonder admired for their power and beauty.

5:00 p.m. – Krimml – Departure. We continue westward through the Tyrolean valleys.

6:45 p.m. – Innsbruck – Arrival. Capital of Tyrol and host of two Winter Olympic Games, Innsbruck features a charming pedestrian old town dominated by the famous Golden Roof, all set amid spectacular Alpine scenery. Free time in the city center for strolling and dinner.

8:00 p.m. – Transfer to the hotel.

Innsbruck- Zugspitze- Reutte- Feldkirch.-

Total distance covered: 268 km.
Scenery: Alps, lakes, castles.

08:00 a.m. – Innsbruck, departure. Today we’ll enjoy an exciting day filled with extraordinary landscapes.

09:45 a.m. – Zugspitze. In the Alps, on the border between Austria and Germany, we’ll head up to Germany’s highest peak, Zugspitze. We’ll ascend using the modern cable car (included). On clear days, you can see a panoramic view of snow-covered peaks across four countries! Free time to walk around and have lunch.

1:30 p.m. – Zugspitze, departure.

2:30 p.m. – Reutte, Highline 179. We’ll walk across the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Tibetan style, according to the Guinness Book of World Records (admission included). The bridge stretches approximately 406 meters and offers a unique floating sensation between the mountains with incredible views.

3:45 p.m. – Reutte, departure. We’ll continue to Feldkirch.

6:00 p.m. – Feldkirch, arrival. Arrival in this charming Austrian walled city near the borders of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany. Free time to stroll through its medieval old town and visit the castle.

Feldkirch- Lindau- Dachau- Munich.-

Total distance covered: 235 km.
Beautiful scenery: lakes, mountains, picturesque villages.

8:00 a.m. – Feldkirch. We cross into Germany.
9:00 a.m. – Lindau. The old town is located on an island (accessed via a bridge) on Lake Constance. Free time for a walk.

10:15 a.m. – Lindau, departure.
12:45 p.m. – Dachau. Museum–concentration camp on the outskirts of Munich. In this powerful and moving place, we will reflect on the difficult historical period of Nazism. Free time to explore the site and have lunch.

In the early afternoon, we head to Munich, where we will visit the impressive BMW WELT complex (BMW World), a very modern multifunctional exhibition center of the prestigious German automobile brand. We will also visit the park where the architecturally stunning Olympiastadion is located, the venue of the famous 1972 Olympic Games. Afterwards, you will have free time in the historic city center to stroll through Marienplatz, the heart of Munich, explore the picturesque Viktualienmarkt open-air market, relax in the Englischer Garten, or enjoy a beer in one of the traditional beer halls.

Note: During Oktoberfest, the hotel may be located in the outskirts of Munich.

Munich- Cesky Krumlov- Telc- Brno

Total distance covered: 531 km.
Scenery: Green landscapes of Bavaria, forests and hills of Bohemia, rural valleys, and charming villages of the Czech countryside.

Note: Comfortable shoes are recommended for walking on the cobblestone streets of Český Krumlov, as well as taking a lot of pictures —this will be a day full of scenic and architectural beauty.

7:30 a.m. Múnich – Departure. We leave the Bavarian capital and head toward the Czech border on a pleasant journey through Central Europe’s green landscapes.

12:00 p.m. Český Krumlov – Arrival. This enchanting city, declared a World Heritage Site, is considered one of the best-preserved gems of Central Europe. Its spectacular Renaissance castle, perched on a hill and surrounded by the winding Vltava River, dominates a medieval-style old town full of cobbled alleys, colorful houses, and unforgettable views. Free time to stroll through the historic center and have lunch at one of its cozy taverns or terrace cafés.

3:15 p.m. Cesky Krumlov – Departure. We cross bucolic landscapes on our way to Telc.

5:15 p.m. Telc – Arrival. Considered a Renaissance jewel, this city is also a World Heritage Site thanks to its harmonious triangular square, flanked by colorful arcaded burgher houses, and its Renaissance castle. Free time to stroll through the historic center, perfect for a leisurely walk.

6:30 p.m. Telc – Departure.
8:00 p.m. Brno – Arrival. The second most important city in the Czech Republic welcomes us with its vibrant cultural life and elegant Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. Its youthful atmosphere, fine gastronomy, and cozy cafés make it a truly surprising city.

Brno- Lednice- Valtice- Mikulov- Brno

Total distance covered: 127 km

Scenery: Today we will travel through the bucolic region of South Moravia, among vineyard fields, gentle hills, and charming villages, one of the most beautiful rural areas in the Czech Republic.

9:00 a.m – Brno – Departure. We begin a day dedicated to discovering the natural, architectural, and wine-making treasures of Moravia.

10:00 a.m. – Lednice – Arrival. We will visit the splendid gardens of Lednice Palace (admission included), part of the Lednice–Valtice Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This vast park, featuring lakes, greenhouses, and romantic architecture, was developed by the influential Liechtenstein family.

11:00 a.m. – Lednice – Departure.

11:15 a.m. – Valtice. In this town, renowned for its wine-making tradition, we will visit the majestic Baroque palace (admission included), also built by the Liechtenstein family and considered one of the great noble residences of Central Europe. Within the palace grounds, we will enjoy a glass of local wine, reflecting the region’s rich wine-making heritage.

1:15 a.m. – Valtice – Departure.

1:30 p.m. – Mikulov – Arrival. This charming town, dominated by its impressive castle and surrounded by vineyards, features a picturesque historic center with stately houses, cobblestone streets, and a lively atmosphere. Free time for lunch and for strolling at leisure.

3:30 p.m. – Mikulov – Departure.

4:15 p.m. – Brno. Free time in the city center to continue enjoying this vibrant and welcoming city.

7:30 p.m – Transfer to the hotel.

Brno - Bratislava - Trencin - Krakow

Total distance covered: 500 km.

Scenery: Beautiful landscapes of rolling hills and forests as we travel through Slovakia.

08:00 a.m. - Departure from Brno.
10:00 a.m. - Bratislava. We’ll arrive in the capital of Slovakia, a charming city on the banks of the Danube with an attractive historic center.

11:45 a.m. - Departure from Bratislava. We’ll continue our journey northwest through Slovakia.
01:30 p.m. - Arrival in Trencin. Free time to explore and have lunch in this picturesque medieval town, set in a valley beneath the White Carpathians, which form the border with the Czech Republic. Trencin is known for its impressive castle and vibrant historic center.

03:30 p.m. - Departure from Trencin. We’ll continue our journey through scenic forests and rolling hills as we head toward Poland.
08:00 p.m. - Krakow. Dinner will be included for passengers with the half-board option.

Krakow

08:00 a.m. - We’ll begin our panoramic tour of Krakow with a local guide, lasting approximately two and a half hours. Known as the capital of Lesser Poland, Krakow’s Old Town is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. This medieval city is home to Poland’s oldest university, where notable figures like Copernicus once studied. We’ll see the vibrant Market Square, known for its artisans, the Church of Our Lady, and the Royal Road, lined with remnants of the ancient city walls. During the tour, you´ll also get to see the Wawel Royal Castle and Cathedral, where Polish royals were crowned and laid to rest. After the tour, you’ll have time for a leisurely walk and lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore Krakow on your own. Alternatively, you can join an optional excursion to the Wieliczka Salt Mines, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring intricate carved galleries, underground churches, and over 300 kilometers of tunnels.

Krakow - Kalwaria - Barwald Dolny – Wadowice – Auschwitz - Katowice

Total distance covered: 124 km.

Scenery: Pleasant landscapes with charming villages en route.

Note: Kalwaria is a Catholic pilgrimage site, and Auschwitz is a place of deep sorrow. We recommend wearing appropriate clothing out of respect for these locations.

09:00 a.m. – Departure from Krakow.
09:45 a.m. - Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. Arrival at this small town set in a beautiful scenic area, renowned for its complex of monasteries and chapels, known as the “Calvary.” Kalwaria has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a significant place of pilgrimage.

10:45 a.m. – Departure from Kalwaria. We’ll make a brief 15-minute stop at the wooden church of Barwald Dolny, one of the oldest historic wooden churches among the more than 50 located in Lesser Poland.
11:30 a.m. - Wadowice. This town is famous for being the birthplace of Karol Wojtyla, later known as Pope John Paul II; you can visit his house-museum or the basilica where he was baptized. There will be time for a walk and lunch.

01:30 p.m. – Departure from Wadowice.
02:15 p.m. - Auschwitz-Birkenau. We’ll visit one of the most solemn places in European history, the former Nazi concentration camp where over a million people perished during World War II. Now a museum and memorial, Auschwitz-Birkenau has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll visit Camp II-Birkenau, the site where trains from all over Europe arrived.

04:15 p.m. – Departure from Auschwitz Birkenau.
05:00 p.m. - Nikiszowiec. This neighborhood was built in the early 20th century for miners and their families. It’s known for its unique architecture and vibrant community life and is currently under consideration for UNESCO World Heritage status.

06:00 p.m. – Departure from Nikiszowiec.
06:15 p.m. - Katowice. Arrival in the capital of Silesia. You’ll have free time to explore this modern city, an important economic center. Accommodation will be in Katowice.

Katowice – Opole – Worclaw

Total distance covered: 214 km.

Scenery: Mining areas and peaceful villages.

Notes: We recommend comfortable footwear for visiting the Village Museum.

08:00 a.m. – Departure from Katowice. After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey.
09:30 a.m. – Opole. There will be time for coffee in this lively small city, known for its well-preserved old town and the National Festival of Polish Song.

10:15 a.m. – Leaving Opole, we’ll visit the Village Museum (tickets included), an open-air museum that showcases rural life in late 19th-century Poland and the region’s wooden architecture, including mills, a church, and farms.

11:30 a.m. – Departure from the Village Museum.
12:45 p.m. – Wroclaw. Arrival in this historic city, founded in the 10th century and capital of Lower Silesia, reflecting Polish, Czech, Austrian, and German influences. Its old town, rebuilt after World War II, features one of the most beautiful squares in Poland, a testimony of the city’s rich past, with a Gothic-style Town Hall and old bourgeois houses in Gothic and Renaissance styles. The city is also famous for its numerous bridges and canals. In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a boat ride through the canals (tickets included). After, there will be free time to explore the city.

Wroclaw – Poznan - Toruń – Warsaw

Total distance covered: 630 km.

Scenery: Expansive plains and agricultural regions.

Note: If the number of travelers from Toruń to Warsaw is very small, we may take this journey by train.

08:00 a.m. – Departure from Wroclaw. We’ll head towards the Greater Poland region.
10:30 a.m. – Poznan. We’ll arrive in the capital of Greater Poland, one of the oldest cities in Poland. The old town is centered around the impressive Market Square, where The Town Hall stands as the centerpiece surrounded by colorful Renaissance buildings, creating a cheerful and inviting atmosphere. At noon, the famous tradition of two mechanical goats butting heads at the sound of the clock captivates visitors, a custom dating back to the 16th century. You’ll have time for lunch and a stroll.

01:00 p.m. – Departure from Poznan.
03:30 p.m. – Toruń. We’ll explore this beautifully preserved Gothic walled city, whose historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Toruń is also renowned as the birthplace of Copernicus, the Renaissance genius who formulated the heliocentric theory, placing the Sun at the center of our solar system. If you wish, you can visit his museum/home.

05:30 p.m. – Departure from Toruń.
09:00 p.m. – Warsaw. Arrival in Poland’s capital at the end of the day.

Warsaw

09:00 a.m. – After breakfast, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour of Warsaw with a local guide. Home to nearly two million people, this political and economic hub of Poland boasts a blend of modern architecture and meticulously restored historic buildings. We’ll stroll through the charming old town, featuring many old buildings, the Royal Palace, and cobbled streets, all restored after their destruction in World War II and now declared a World Heritage Site. We’ll visit the Palace of Culture, a skyscraper gifted by the Soviet Union, reflect on the history of what was once the largest Jewish ghetto in Europe, and wander through Lazienki Park, home to the Chopin Monument.

You’ll have free time in the afternoon to visit museums, such as the National Museum and the Warsaw Rising Museum, or to explore the lively city center filled with shops and activities.

 

Note: Depending on the number of passengers, the city tour may be operated on a regular tourist service.

 

After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
