
Welcome to Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

Additional Nights: If you requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival at the hotel, but your trip guide will only contact you when the included activities begin. At the reception, you will find an information board with our staff’s telephone number and hours of assistance. Until then, you have free time to enjoy at your leisure. The hotel staff can assist you with any information you need.

If these activities are available on the Europamundo app or through your "My Trip" link, we strongly recommend booking them as early as possible to ensure availability. Waiting until the last minute may result in missed opportunities due to limited tickets, bus seats, or other factors.

Vienna
09:00 a.m. - We’ll begin our panoramic tour of Vienna, guided by a local expert. This two-and-a-half-hour tour will showcase the famous Ringstrasse, Vienna’s main boulevard, the Opera House, the exterior of the Hofburg Palace, the Prater Gardens, Belvedere Palace, and the University. The tour will conclude at Schönbrunn Palace. Guests who wish to visit the palace can do so (tickets not included), while others will be transported back to the city center. We’ll make two stops during the tour.
07:00 p.m. - We’ll provide a transfer to Town Hall Square, where you can enjoy the evening lights and the vibrant atmosphere of the surrounding streets. Our guide will help you get acquainted with the area.

Vienna – Krems - Durnstein - Spitz - Melk - St Florian - Linz
Total distance covered: 224 km.
Scenery: Following the course of the Danube, we will travel through the romantic Wachau Valley, among gentle hills covered with vineyards, picturesque medieval villages, and river views that have inspired artists and poets.
08:30 hrs. Vienna – Departure. We leave the Austrian capital behind to enter the charming Wachau Valley, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
10:00 hrs. Krems – Arrival and a short stop in this historic city, one of the oldest in Austria, noted for its well-preserved medieval center, its Baroque houses, and its charming narrow streets.
11:00 hrs. Krems – Departure along a small road following the Danube.
11:15 hrs. Dürnstein – Arrival with time for a walk through this idyllic village surrounded by vineyards, with colorful houses and a romantic atmosphere. Here are the ruins of the castle where Richard the Lionheart was once imprisoned.
12:15 hrs. Dürnstein – Departure continuing along the Danube Valley.
13:00 hrs. Melk – Arrival. Free time for lunch. Afterwards, we will visit Melk Abbey (entrance and visit included), one of the great jewels of European Baroque, with its monumental library, the Marble Hall, and majestic gardens. (Note: the interior visit may be conducted with an English-speaking guide).
15:30 hrs. Melk – Departure. We continue the route through rural landscapes to our next stop.
16:45 hrs. St. Florian – Arrival. Short stop to admire the exterior of its magnificent Augustinian abbey, one of the most important in Austria.
17:45 hrs. St. Florian – Departure.
18:15 hrs. Linz – Arrival at the country’s third-largest city, Linz, which combines tradition and modernity on the banks of the Danube. We suggest a walk through its charming old town and the lively Hauptplatz.

Scenery: Today will be the “day of the lakes,” as we travel through the heart of the Salzkammergut lake region, surrounded by alpine mountains, dense forests, and crystal-clear waters that reflect the natural charm of Austria.
Note: Comfortable clothing, suitable walking shoes, and a camera are recommended to capture the lake landscapes.
08:30 a.m. Linz – Departure. We’ll travel through gentle hills and green valleys toward the Traunsee region.
09:45 a.m. Gmunden – Arrival. This elegant summer resort town on the northern shore of Lake Traunsee is known for its lakeside Ort Castle and 19th-century villas.
11:30 a.m. – After some time to stroll, we’ll enjoy a one-hour panoramic cruise on Lake Traunsee, sailing among alpine peaks and stately villas.
12:25 p.m. Ebensee – Disembarkation. From this quiet village on the lake, we resume our route through the landscapes of the Salzkammergut.
01:00 p.m. St. Wolfgang – Arrival. This charming village, considered one of the most beautiful in Austria, preserves its alpine atmosphere with cobblestone streets and flower-adorned houses. Free time for lunch and to enjoy the surroundings of Lake Wolfgangsee, a traditional pilgrimage site since the Middle Ages.
03:00 p.m. St. Wolfgang – Departure. We’ll journey into forested valleys toward one of the country’s great destinations.
04:00 p.m. Salzburg – Arrival. Free afternoon in this Baroque jewel, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We suggest exploring its perfectly preserved old town with medieval squares and Renaissance churches, visiting Mozart’s birthplace, climbing up to Hohensalzburg Fortress, or relaxing in the Mirabell Gardens.

Salzburg - Salzwelten – Zeel Am See – Krimml – Innsbruck

Scenery: Today is the “day of mountain landscapes.” We’ll cross some of the most spectacular natural settings in Austria, with majestic mountains, glacial valleys, and crystal-clear lakes.
Note: Comfortable and safe footwear is recommended for the visit to the Krimml waterfalls.
08:30 a.m. Salzburg – Departure. We leave Mozart’s city and head into the Austrian Alps.
09:00 a.m. Salzwelten – Arrival. Visit to the oldest salt mines in the world still in operation. The tour includes an underground train, a boat ride on a saline lake, and historic tunnels, revealing the secrets of the “white gold” of the Alps.
10:45 a.m. Salzwelten – Departure. We’ll continue toward the most picturesque alpine valleys of the region.
12:15 p.m. Zell am See – Arrival. This charming town, located by Lake Zeller See and surrounded by high peaks, combines natural beauty with medieval heritage. Free time for lunch, strolling through its historic center, and enjoying the lakeside atmosphere.
02:15 p.m. Zell am See – Departure. We enter the Hohe Tauern National Park, a paradise of unspoiled nature.
03:15 p.m. Krimml – Arrival. Accompanied by our guide, we’ll walk about 15 minutes to admire the Krimml waterfalls (admission included), with a height of 380 meters spread across three impressive tiers. A natural wonder that fascinates with its power and beauty.
05:00 p.m. Krimml – Departure. We continue through the Tyrolean valleys heading west.
06:45 p.m. Innsbruck – Arrival. Capital of Tirol and host to two Winter Olympic Games, Innsbruck offers a charming pedestrian old town, dominated by the famous Golden Roof and surrounded by spectacular alpine scenery.

08:00 a.m. – Innsbruck, departure. Today we’ll enjoy an exciting day filled with extraordinary landscapes.
09:45 a.m. – Zugspitze. In the Alps, on the border between Austria and Germany, we’ll head up to Germany’s highest peak, Zugspitze. We’ll ascend using the modern cable car (included). On clear days, you can see a panoramic view of snow-covered peaks across four countries! Free time to walk around and have lunch.
1:30 p.m. – Zugspitze, departure.
2:30 p.m. – Reutte, Highline 179. We’ll walk across the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Tibetan style, according to the Guinness Book of World Records (admission included). The bridge stretches approximately 406 meters and offers a unique floating sensation between the mountains with incredible views.
3:45 p.m. – Reutte, departure. We’ll continue to Feldkirch.
6:00 p.m. – Feldkirch, arrival. Arrival in this charming Austrian walled city near the borders of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany. Free time to stroll through its medieval old town and visit the castle.

08:00 a.m. – Departure from Feldkirch, re-entering Switzerland.
09:00 a.m. – St. Gallen. Time to explore this beautiful town with its medieval center. Its magnificent baroque cathedral houses the library (admission included), which holds 170,000 volumes, including manuscripts over a thousand years old and the 2,700-year-old Egyptian mummy of Schepenese. The rococo hall of the library is considered the most beautiful in Switzerland, and the Abbey District is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.
11:00 a.m. – Departure from St. Gallen. We’ll continue our route along the shores of Lake Constance, situated between Germany and Switzerland.
12:00 p.m. – Constance. Free time to stroll and have lunch in this German city with a beautiful medieval old town, notable for its cathedral and Market Square.
02:15 p.m. – Departure from Constance.
03:00 p.m. – Stein Am Rhein. A very picturesque town on the banks of the Rhine, famous for its beautifully painted houses.
04:00 p.m. – Departure from Stein Am Rhein.
04:30 p.m. – Rhine Falls (admission included). We’ll make a stop to visit the most powerful waterfalls in Europe. We recommend an optional boat ride that will make you feel like you can almost touch the cascading waters.
06:00 p.m. – Departure from the Rhine Falls. We’ll travel by highway.
07:00 p.m. – Arrival in Zurich.

Note: Today’s itinerary is unique, featuring a boat journey across Lake Zurich and a return trip by train. Depending on the number of travelers, transfers to and from the city center may be conducted using public transport. Please note that the boat schedules may change, and the itinerary may be adjusted accordingly.
09:00 a.m. - We’ll depart from the hotel for a tranquil day. Accompanied by our guide, we’ll take a leisurely walk-through Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city and its financial and cultural hub. Renowned for its banking industry, Zurich has twice been recognized as the city with the best quality of life in the world.
10:30 a.m. - We’ll embark on an approximately two-hour cruise on Lake Zurich. The boat will make brief stops, allowing us to admire the charming villages along the way.
12:30 p.m. - Rapperswil - Arriving in this quaint and picturesque village, famous for its medieval castle, there will be time to explore and enjoy lunch.
03:00 p.m. - We’ll return to Zurich by train, experiencing the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railway system. The journey back to Zurich will take just under 35 minutes. Afterward, you´ll have free time to explore the city on your own.

Zurich - Bern - Glacier 3000 - Chillon - Geneva
Total distance covered: 361 km.
Scenery: Stunning landscapes throughout the journey, featuring impressive alpine views, picturesque villages, and scenic views over Lake Geneva.
Note: Don’t forget to bring winter clothing and comfortable shoes, as we’ll be ascending to one of the most spectacular points in Switzerland, where you can admire ice and snow year-round. A raincoat is also recommended. If the day is sunny in the mountains, be sure to use sunscreen.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Zurich. We’ll enjoy beautiful scenery along the way.
10:00 a.m. - Bern. Welcome to Switzerland’s capital, one of the country’s most charming historic cities. We’ll ascend to the Rose Garden for panoramic views from its lookout point. Afterward, you’ll have free time to stroll through the city center.
11:30 a.m. – Departure from Bern. We’ll continue our journey along a scenic road surrounded by majestic alpine landscapes, passing through the canton of Bern with its quaint wooden architecture, on our way to the Gstaad region, famous for its ski resorts.
01:30 p.m. - Glacier 3000. Cable car ride included to this station located 3,000 meters above sea level, covered in snow for most of the year. The station features various viewpoints offering breathtaking panoramas of more than 20 peaks over 4,000 meters tall. If you’re feeling brave, you can also walk across the 107-meter-long suspension bridge connecting two of these peaks. Lunch will be included.
04:30 p.m. - After descending from Glacier 3000, we’ll journey toward Lake Geneva in the French-speaking region of Switzerland, known for its mild climate and extensive vineyards.
05:15 p.m. – Chillon Castle (tickets included). We’ll stop to visit this medieval fortress built over the waters of Lake Geneva.
06:15 p.m. – Departure from Chillon Castle. We’ll continue along the lakeshore, passing through the center of Montreux, a sophisticated city renowned for its jazz festival.
07:45 p.m. - Geneva – We’ll arrive at our hotel by the end of the day, typically located on the French outskirts of the city.
Important note: In case of adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, the Glacier 3000 cable car may be closed. If this happens, we will offer an equally spectacular alternative to enjoy the alpine landscapes.

08.00 a.m.- After breakfast, we’ll include a panoramic tour with our guide or a local guide in Geneva, a city situated by Lake Geneva and home to the European headquarters of the United Nations, the International Labour Organization, the Red Cross, and many other international organizations. The tour will end in the city center. Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes. You’ll have free time afterward to continue exploring the city.
