08:00 a.m. – Extensive city tour of Bangkok. We will travel along its main avenues until we reach the bustling Chinatown district, where we will make our first stop at the Temple of the Golden Buddha, or Wat Traimit (entrance included), home to a five-ton solid-gold Buddha statue filled with history.

Our next stop takes us to the Golden Mount, or Wat Saket (entrance included), where we will climb to the top to enjoy a panoramic view offering a different perspective of Bangkok.
We continue to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, or Wat Pho (entrance included), which houses one of the largest reclining Buddha statues in the world.

We will end our tour at the Grand Royal Palace (entrance included), which served as the official residence of the King of Thailand. During the visit to the Grand Palace, we will also see the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the most important in all of Thailand.

Afterward, we will cross the Chao Phraya River by ferry to finish our tour at the city’s most impressive shopping mall, IconSiam. Free time for lunch or shopping. Return to the hotel on your own and free afternoon to continue enjoying this fascinating city. Overnight stay.

Bangkok - Chiang Mai

Transfer to Bangkok Airport to board a flight (included) to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.

Chiang Mai – Elephant Eco Valley – Chiang Mai

Scenery: Mountains covered in tropical forest. Predominantly rice fields, tropical fruit plantations, and small traditional villages.

Important Note: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes for walking and for interacting with elephants. To visit temples, you must wear pants or a skirt down to the knee and a long-sleeved shirt or one with sleeves at least to the elbow.

07:30 a.m. – Departure from the hotel. We begin the day visiting two unique mountain temples in Chiang Mai.
08:00 a.m. – Wat Pha Lat Temple (entrance included). Hidden in the jungle and crossed by a stream, this mystical sanctuary offers a deep connection with nature and spirituality. Stone sculptures and natural terraces overlook the Chiang Mai valley. It is an ideal place for those seeking peace, nature, and a less-crowded temple experience.

08:40 a.m. – Departure from Wat Pha Lat.
09:00 a.m. – Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Temple (entrance included). A symbol of Chiang Mai and one of the most sacred temples in northern Thailand. Located 1,000 meters above sea level, it offers stunning panoramic views of the city. The visit includes an ascent by funicular (cogwheel train). Its golden stupa, gleaming in the sunlight, houses Buddha relics and attracts pilgrims from around the world. A uniquely sacred atmosphere. This is an essential visit to understand the spirituality and history of the north.

10:30 a.m. – Departure from Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, enjoying scenery that blends mountains, jungle, and meadows—creating a picturesque and relaxing environment.
11:30 a.m. – Elephant Eco Valley (entrance included). Arrival. This center promotes more respectful tourism with elephants: the main activities include walking with them, feeding them, and participating in basic care. The site also features a cultural museum about elephants that explains their anatomy, history, the dangers they face, and their relationship with local communities.

1:30 p.m. – Departure from Elephant Eco Valley.
1:45 p.m. – Karen Ethnic Community – Arrival. We will have the opportunity to visit a community known for the traditional brass rings worn by women around their necks, which has led to the term “giraffe women.” Our visit seeks to promote respect, intercultural understanding, and support for local development, while also acknowledging that many of these communities live in situations of displacement or without full citizenship in Thailand.

5:00 p.m. – Chiang Mai – Arrival at the hotel and free time to continue exploring its lively night market.

Chiang Mai – Tweechol Botanical Garden – Mae Kachan Hot Spring – White Temple – Golden Triangle – Chiang Rai.

Scenery: Green valleys surrounded by forested mountains. The road passes through rural areas with rice fields, small villages, and gentle hills. Views of the Mekong and Ruak rivers, mountains descending into river valleys, and riverside communities.

07:45 a.m. – Chiang Mai – Departure toward the east of the country.
08:30 a.m. – Tweechol Botanical Garden – Arrival. Entrance included to this extensive and well-maintained botanical garden, home to a rich variety of tropical plants, sculptures, lakes, and peaceful walking paths. A vehicle tour inside the park is included to see the Orchid Garden.

09:30 a.m. – Departure from Tweechol Botanical Garden.
10:15 a.m. – Mae Kachan Hot Spring – Arrival at this rest area for travelers, known for its hot springs, where you can see columns of steam rising from the ground. Would you like to try a foot bath in these very hot waters?

10:30 a.m. – Departure from Mae Kachan Hot Spring.
12:15 p.m. – Wat Rong Khun – Arrival and entrance included to one of Thailand’s most impressive temples, also known as the White Temple. A contemporary work of art, completely white and decorated with mirrors, blending Buddhist symbolism with modern creativity. Lunch included at a local restaurant.

1:45 p.m. – Departure from Wat Rong Khun. We continue north, where the landscape becomes increasingly mountainous, with winding roads passing through forests, terraced rice fields, and deep valleys.
3:15 p.m. – Golden Triangle – Arrival in this region where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet, shaped by the Mekong and Ruak rivers. Historically known for opium cultivation, it is now a tourist destination with river landscapes, mountains, and border villages. We will learn about the culture and history of the area at the Opium Museum (entrance included), through interactive and audiovisual exhibits. Here we gain insight into how opium influenced the local economy, culture, and society, as well as the efforts to eradicate its production.

5:00 p.m. – Departure from the Golden Triangle.
6:15 p.m. – Chiang Rai – Arrival in the northernmost city of Thailand. Surrounded by rivers, hills, and rural villages, it offers a relaxed atmosphere. Overnight stay.

Chiang Rai – Blue Temple – Black House – Choui Fong Tea Plantation – Red Temple – Chiang Rai.

Scenery: Green valleys and higher hills in the tea-growing areas, with cooler temperatures.

09:15 a.m. – Blue Temple – Arrival. Entrance included to this contemporary architectural jewel, known for its intense blue and gold tones and its serene white Buddha image that conveys peace and harmony.

10:30 a.m. – Black House Museum (Baan Dam) – Arrival and entrance included to this complex of more than 40 dark-wood structures created by Thai artist Thawan Duchanee. A unique, provocative, and symbolic place that contrasts sharply with traditional Buddhist aesthetics.

11:30 a.m. – Departure from the Black House Museum toward the north, where the landscape becomes greener and more hilly.
12:15 p.m. – Choui Fong Tea Plantation – Arrival and entrance included to this estate where rolling tea fields create a spectacular landscape. We will have time to relax, taste local teas, and enjoy the panoramic views. Lunch included.

2:30 p.m. – Departure from Choui Fong Tea Plantation.
3:30 p.m. – Red Temple (Wat Huay Pla Kang) – Arrival at this famous temple known for its impressive 40-meter-tall white statue of the Goddess of Mercy. Inside the statue, an elevator (included) will take us to the top to enjoy unmatched views of Chiang Rai and its surroundings.

5:00 p.m. – Departure from the Red Temple.
5:20 p.m. – Chiang Rai – Arrival and overnight stay.

Chiang Rai - Luang Prabang

Departure to Chiang Rai Airport to board a flight (included) to Luang Prabang, Laos. Connecting flight. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, border formalities and transfer to the hotel.
This city is a true gem of Southeast Asia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As the former royal capital and spiritual heart of the country, Luang Prabang blends elegant Buddhist temples, French colonial architecture, and a profound sense of calm that is felt from the very first moment.

Note: Please make sure to keep the required documents readily available for entry into Laos: passport, visa, and Yellow Fever vaccination certificate (required by authorities depending on your country of origin).

Luang Prabang.-

8:00 a.m. – City tour of the former royal capital, a place that captivates with its golden temples, colonial streets, and the living spirituality of monks at dawn. We begin the visit at the Royal Palace, now the National Museum, where the treasures of the ancient Kingdom of Laos are preserved. Just a short walk away, we admire the elegance of Wat Mai Temple, with its five-tiered roof and delicate golden decorations. Afterwards, we visit Wat Xieng Thong (Temple of the Golden City), the most important Buddhist monument in Laos and a jewel of Laotian architecture, featuring roofs that slope almost to the ground and dazzling mosaics.

12:40 p.m. – Luang Prabang – Departure from the pier for a boat trip along the Mekong River, observing local life flowing along its banks. Lunch included on board.
2:40 p.m. – Pak Ou Caves – Arrival and admission included to these sacred caves, home to thousands of Buddha statues hidden within the rock.

3:40 p.m. – Pak Ou Caves – Departure. Return by road to Luang Prabang. Stop in the village of Ban Xang Khong, well known for cotton and silk weaving.
5:45 p.m. – Luang Prabang – Arrival at the hotel.

Note: The ascent of Mount Phousi has become extremely popular. We recommend visiting on your own during the day (not at sunset, as it is often too crowded to enjoy the views).

Luang Prabang – Living Land Farm – Laos Buffalo Dairy – Kuang Si Waterfalls – Luang Prabang

Total distance covered: 90 km

Scenery: Traditional wooden houses with thatched roofs surrounded by rice paddies. Lush vegetation that becomes even more impressive as we approach the Kuang Si Waterfalls.

Important note: We recommend bringing a swimsuit and towel if you wish to swim at the waterfalls.

5:30 AM – Early morning departure from the hotel to attend the Tak Bat ceremony, a deeply spiritual ritual. At dawn, barefoot Buddhist monks dressed in saffron-colored robes walk in single file through the city streets, carrying wicker baskets to receive food offerings from local residents. Visit to a local market, followed by a return to the hotel.

7:00 AM – Arrival at the hotel. Breakfast and a short rest.

8:30 AM – Departure from the hotel. The experience continues through green fields and authentic local flavors.

9:15 AM – Living Land Farm (entrance included). Arrival at the farm, where we will take part in traditional rural life and discover the entire rice cultivation process.

9:45 AM – Living Land Farm. Departure.

10:15 AM – Laos Buffalo Dairy (entrance included). Arrival at this sustainable project, where we will interact with the animals and sample handcrafted cheeses made from locally sourced buffalo milk.

12:00 PM – Laos Buffalo Dairy. Departure.

12:15 PM – Kuang Si Waterfalls (entrance included). Nature amazes us with this spectacular multi-tiered waterfall system that flows into turquoise pools, perfect for swimming. Surrounded by tropical jungle and natural trails, it offers an idyllic and refreshing setting to enjoy nature and tranquility.
Lunch included at a local restaurant.

3:00 PM – Kuang Si Waterfalls. Departure.

3:40 PM – Luang Prabang. Arrival at the hotel and short free time.

5:30 PM – Transfer to a local ceremony. Arrival at a local home to participate in the traditional Baci ceremony, during which the officiant calls back the spirits to attract positive influences. A white cotton string is then tied around participants’ wrists as a symbol of prosperity and good luck. You will have the privilege of taking part in this sacred experience.
Dinner included. Return to the hotel at the end of the day.

Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng – Phoxay- Vang Vieng.-

Total distance covered: 235 km

Scenery: Some of the most beautiful landscapes in Laos, featuring spectacular rock formations and abundant vegetation. Lush nature and traditional rural life.

Important note: Please keep your passport handy, as it will be required for train access.

9:00 AM – Luang Prabang. Departure from the hotel and transfer to the train station located outside the city.

9:30 AM – Train station. Arrival and check-in procedures.

10:30 AM – Luang Prabang. Departure by train (included) to Vang Vieng, a town surrounded by impressive karst formations and rice fields. In just one hour, we will travel the nearly 200 km that separate the two cities.

11:35 AM – Vang Vieng. Arrival and lunch included at a local restaurant. This destination is a small paradise in the heart of Laos, offering untamed nature, postcard-perfect scenery, hidden caves, and unforgettable sunsets over the Nam Song River.

1:30 PM – Vang Vieng. Departure.

2:00 PM – Phoxay. Arrival at this point, where we leave the vehicle to begin an approximately 1.5-hour hike. The walk starts in the small Hmong village of Ban Phathao. Along the way, we cross lush green rice paddies and follow shaded paths beneath towering trees, encountering local villagers as we go. We reach the Elephant Cave Temple and sacred cave on foot.

Note: During the rainy season, the walking portion will be replaced by a vehicle transfer from Ban Phathao village to the Elephant Cave.

3:50 PM – Phoxay. Departure by road to Vang Vieng.

4:20 PM – Vang Vieng. Arrival at the hotel and free time to rest.

6:30 PM – Transfer to a viewpoint to enjoy the sunset from an elevated terrace. One drink is included while you take in the sunset. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Vang Vieng – Angel Cave – Vientiane

Total distance covered: 140 km

Scenery: Karst mountains and green hills alternate with stretches of open plains, creating a striking contrast. Farmland and rural villages dot the landscape.

Important note: We recommend an early-morning hot air balloon ride in Vang Vieng to admire the spectacular scenery from above. Comfortable footwear is recommended for walking along the trails inside Angel Cave.

8:00 am – Vang Vieng. Departure.

8:20 am – Angel Cave (entrance included), also locally known as Tham Nang Faa. Surrounded by karst mountains and tropical vegetation, this cave complex features impressive caverns with stalactites, stalagmites, and a surprising open-air hidden chamber.

9:45 am – Angel Cave. Departure via the new highway toward the south of the country and the capital.

11:45 am – Vientiane. Arrival in a city that offers a charming blend of history, spirituality, and a relaxed lifestyle. City tour begins with a visit to That Luang Temple (entrance included), an imposing golden stupa built in the 16th century and the most sacred site in Vientiane, often frequented by local pilgrims.

We then explore the city center to see the Patuxay Monument, built in memory of those who died during Laos’ war of independence from France.
Lunch is included at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we continue to Wat Sisaket (entrance included), home to thousands of miniature Buddha statues. Just across the street, we visit the neighboring Wat Phra Keo (entrance included), which houses an impressive collection of Lao and Khmer religious art.

We conclude the day with a visit to COPE (entrance included), offering a powerful and deeply human experience. Through interactive exhibits, videos, and firsthand testimonies, this center reveals the consequences of the tragic legacy of Laos as one of the most heavily bombed countries in the world during the Vietnam War.

Vientiane – Pakse – Tad Fane Waterfalls – Tad Yeung Waterfalls – Thateng – Bolaven Plateau

Total distance covered: 760 km

Scenery: Mountain plateau with rolling hills, dense forests, bamboo groves, and coffee plantations covering much of the region. Traditional wooden houses with palm-thatched roofs.

6:30 am – Vientiane. Departure to the airport to board a flight (included) to Pakse, in the south of the country. Flight departure around 8:00 am.
Flight duration: approximately one hour.

9:00 am – Pakse. Arrival at the airport, where our guide will be waiting. Located on the banks of the Mekong River, Pakse serves as the gateway to the Bolaven Plateau.

9:20 am – Pakse. Departure.

9:45 am – Batiang. Arrival. We first stop at a small Khmer village, followed shortly by a visit to the village of Batiang to learn about local life.

10:10 am – Batiang. Departure toward the Bolaven Plateau, a fertile mountainous region known for its coffee plantations and home to several ethnic minorities. Among its highlights are impressive waterfalls such as Tad Fane and Tad Yeung.

10:30 am – Coffee plantation. Arrival at the plantation, where we learn about the different coffee varieties grown in the region, especially Arabica and Robusta. The area is said to produce some of the most highly valued Arabica coffee beans in the world. After enjoying a cup of coffee, we continue our journey.

11:30 am – Coffee plantation. Departure.

11:45 am – Tad Fane Twin Waterfalls (entrance included). Arrival. From a lush, vegetation-covered cliff, two parallel streams of water plunge more than 120 meters into a deep canyon surrounded by tropical rainforest.

12:45 pm – Tad Fane Twin Waterfalls. Departure.

1:00 pm – Tad Yeung Waterfalls (entrance included). Arrival. Lunch is included in a beautiful natural setting. After lunch, we take a short walk to the waterfall, considered one of the most impressive in the country.

3:00 pm – Tad Yeung Waterfalls. Departure.

4:00 pm – Thateng. Arrival at this small town set among rice fields and shaped by animist beliefs, a traditional faith practiced by some ethnic groups in Laos, based on the idea that all elements of nature—mountains, rivers, trees, animals, stones, and even everyday objects—possess a spirit or life force.

4:30 pm – Thateng. Departure.

5:30 pm – Bolaven Plateau. Arrival at the hotel in the heart of the plateau. Dinner included and overnight stay.

Note: The Bolaven Plateau region is still largely undeveloped as a tourist destination; therefore, the quality of restaurants, hotels, and services reflects local standards.

Bolaven Plateau – Pakse – Wat Phou Temple – Muang Champassak

Total distance covered: 100 km

Scenery: A blend of history, nature, and mountains. From certain viewpoints, wide valleys and the distant Mekong River come into view, creating a sense of openness and serenity.

9:30 am – Bolaven Plateau. Departure. From the cool highlands of the Bolaven Plateau, the journey descends toward the southern plains of Laos, following the course of the Mekong River.

10:15 am – Pakse. Arrival in the provincial capital and crossroads of southern Laos. Visit to Wat Luang Temple (entrance included), the most important temple in the city, where monks dressed in saffron robes walk silently among Buddha statues and traditional architectural details.

10:50 am – Pakse. Departure. We cross the majestic Laos–Japan Bridge, which connects both banks of the Mekong River and offers spectacular river views. We also discover local handicrafts from the region, including woodwork, pottery, and textiles.
Lunch is included at a local restaurant.

3:00 pm – Wat Phou Temple (entrance included). Visit to one of the country’s most important archaeological treasures and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient Khmer sanctuary predates Angkor and is surrounded by nature and rich in mysticism. Its stone temples and terraces offer a unique connection between history, spirituality, and landscape.

4:30 pm – Wat Phou Temple. Departure.

5:15 pm – Muang Champasak. Arrival in this peaceful town on the banks of the Mekong River. Overnight stay.

Muang Champasak – Khone Phapheng Waterfalls – Si Phan Don 4,000 Islands – Muang Khong

Total distance covered: 170 km

Scenery: The Mekong River widens into calm channels, sandy riverbanks, and traditional villages, creating a serene, green, and majestic landscape—perfect for enjoying nature and river life.

8:30 am – Muang Champasak. Departure toward the Si Phan Don region, in the far south of Laos, near the Cambodian border.

10:30 am – Khone Phapheng Waterfalls. Arrival and visit (entrance included) to the largest waterfalls in Southeast Asia by water volume, creating a spectacular natural display surrounded by tropical jungle and lush vegetation, admired from several viewpoints.

12:30 pm – Khone Phapheng Waterfalls. Departure.

1:00 pm – Si Phan Don (4,000 Islands). Arrival. Here, the Mekong River unfolds at its most impressive scale, transforming the landscape into a labyrinth of channels, islets, and natural wonders. In the village of Nakasang, we head to the pier to board a simple local boat for a river excursion and experience the island way of life.

Our first stop is Don Khon Island, where we disembark for a tuk-tuk ride to explore the area. Lunch is included at a local restaurant. We then board the boat again to reach Don Loppadi, a village strongly influenced by Buddhism. The journey continues by boat to another island, where a local fisherman demonstrates how to cast a traditional fishing net, followed by a light snack while enjoying the sunset.

6:00 pm – Nakasang pier. Arrival and overland transfer to Muang Khong.

Around 6:30 pm – Muang Khong. Arrival at the hotel. Overnight stay.

Muang Khong- Pakse.-

Total distance covered: 140 km
8:30 a.m. – Muang Khong – After breakfast, departure for Pakse. The road journey takes about two and a half hours.

11:00 a.m. – Pakse – Arrival and free time for last-minute shopping and to say farewell to Laos.
