Ease your way into the local culture with a guided tour of Germany’s incredible capital, Berlin. We will visit the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and the city’s magnificent parks. We continue our visit by stopping at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. Optionally you will have the opportunity to visit the Potsdam area with its beautiful palaces.

We’ll travel to Dresden, a city on the River Elbe, where you’ll be able to admire its stunning palace. Then, we’ll head to Bavaria, arriving in Bamberg, a lively and picturesque city—don’t miss Little Venice! Next, we’ll continue to Nuremberg, the second-largest city in Bavaria, renowned for its rich history. We suggest visiting the site where Hitler’s Coliseum once stood.

Today’s journey will be full of surprises. From Kelheim, we’ll board a boat for a short cruise along the Danube valley, passing through the Danube Gorge. Our first stop will be Kloster Weltenburg, a beautiful Benedictine monastery founded in 1040. Next, we’ll visit Dachau, where we’ll tour the Nazi concentration camp museum. After having lunch, we’ll continue to Munich, where we’ll visit the impressive BMW Welt, a modern multifunctional exhibition facility of the prestigious German vehicle brand BMW Group. We’ll also see the park that houses the Olympiastadion, an architectural marvel where the 1972 Olympic Games were held. After this, you’ll have free time in the historic center. You can stroll through Marienplatz, the heart of Munich, visit the picturesque Viktualienmarkt open-air market, relax in the Englischer Garten, or enjoy the traditional beer houses.Note: In winter or when Danube’s water level is too low, the cruise will not operate. In this case, the journey will be made by road.

Amidst alpine summits and breathtaking scenery, we’ll travel to Füssen and the Neuschwanstein Castle. We’ll take a bus to Mary’s Bridge to admire the fantastic views of the gorge. From here, you can either return on foot or by horse carriage (not included). Continuing along our Romantic Road, we’ll head to Rothenburg, a picturesque walled city where we’ll visit the beautiful Christmas Museum (admission included). We’ll then head to Frankfurt, Germany’s financial capital.

Today, we’ll explore the Rhine and Moselle Valleys, two rivers full of history and dotted with charming villages. We´ll begin with a short cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of Rüdesheim and Sankt Goar, undoubtedly the most picturesque section of the river. Next, we’ll head to the Moselle River, stopping for lunch in Cochem, a picturesque village on the Rhine riverbank overlooked by its imposing castle, which dates back over a thousand years. Afterward, we’ll travel to Cologne, where you´ll have time to visit its impressive Gothic cathedral. Standing at 154 meters tall, it was the tallest building in the world until the late 19th century. You can also enjoy a walk along the Rhine River and through the lively city center before we continue to our hotel in Dortmund.Note: During fairs or congresses, accommodation may be in a nearby city.

Today, we’ll embark on a magical journey, reminiscing about our favorite childhood stories and movies as we travel through the towns that inspired the Brothers Grimm, now known as the Fairy Tale Route. Our first stop will be Trendelburg, a picturesque walled village where we’ll visit the large medieval castle and the famous Rapunzel Tower (admission included).We’ll continue along scenic roads, crossing forests that will remind us of the tale of Hansel and Gretel. Our next stop will be Höxter, a vibrant town where we’ll enjoy lunch and visit Corvey Abbey, an ancient 9th-century monastery and World Heritage Site (admission included). We’ll then make a brief stop in Polle to photograph the exterior ruins of Cinderella’s Castle. Our journey will continue to Hamelin, renowned for the tale of “The Pied Piper of Hamelin”. After following the mouse tracks, we’ll proceed to Hanover, where we’ll have time to explore the city center and take a stroll next to the old town hall.Note: During fairs or conferences, accommodation may be arranged in a nearby city.

After breakfast, we leave Hannover for HAMBURG, where we go around its lake and see its busy port full of life, time for lunch. After lunch we travel to FLENSBURG a pretty seaside village with its marina on the border with Denmark. Our route goes on to AARHUS, Denmark’s second largest city in the center of Jutland.

We will travel to HIRTSHALS, where we will take a ferry crossing the North Sea to Norway. A three-hour voyage to KRISTIANSAND. We will continue along Norway’s southern coastline and enjoy its stunning landscapes. Next stop in FLEKKEFJORD, a town with its wooden houses and tiny restaurants on a fjord. Arrival to STAVANGER, a small picturesque town that has an active port by the fjord. Note: Ferry operation hours vary depending on the months. Normally you will have time to have lunch on the boat.

Upon leaving the city, we will stop at the ‘Swords in Rock’ monument, where we will be reminded of the Vikings, before continuing the very beautiful scenic tour. We follow the route going through tunnels, bridges and travel some stretches by boat to go along the fjord coast of Norway. One of its undersea tunnels is the deepest one in the world. This stage gets more relaxed and spectacular with its two boat trips. We will arrive in BERGEN at lunch time. We take a cable car trip to Mount Fløyen which offers amazing views of the town and Bergen fjord. There will be some leisure time later to enjoy the capital city of fjords.

More fantastic landscapes today, images of Norway’s interior region fjords, glaciers, lakes and forests. We will travel to SOGNEFJORD, Norway’s largest fjord. Prior to arrival, we will make a stop at the beautiful TVINDEFOSSEN waterfall. We will take a magnificent cruise between the cities of GUDVANGEN and AURLAND; enjoy stunning landscapes during this an hour and a half voyage. We continue our journey crossing magnificent snow-covered landscapes. We travel through Aurland Tunnel, the longest in the world. Next, a visit to BORGUND’s 12th century wooden church (from the outside), which is considered Norway’s best-preserved medieval church. We arrive in OSLO with free time to have a walk through its port, main streets, and the artworks at Frognerparken.

We include a panoramic tour of the Norwegian capital with a local guide. This city blends vibrant modern architecture with classical buildings, stunning scenery, and large parks with sculptures. Oslo has been named the European Green Capital. After the tour, you´ll have free time to explore on your own.Next, we’ll depart for Sweden, passing through landscapes of forests and lakes. Our next stop is Örebro, a historic town by a beautiful lake, with a castle and a charming old town. Enjoy some time for a stroll before we continue to Stockholm, arriving in the evening.

Today we take a sightseeing tour of this very beautiful capital city built on 14 islands joined together. We will see the Gamla Stand or the “City between the Bridges”, the old quarter of the city, full of life where there are many monumental buildings such as the Nobel Museum, alongside the main square of Stortorget, which pays tribute to the winners of the Nobel Prizes, the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, we will enjoy a pretty view from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. Then leisure time. We recommend visiting the museums and parks. Optionally, we suggest a visit to the City Hall and to the Vasa museum.

Leaving Stockholm, we’ll head south. After spending some time in the vibrant coastal town of Helsingborg, we’ll take a ferry from Sweden to Helsingor in Denmark in the early afternoon. You’ll get to enjoy some time in Helsingor, Hamlet’s hometown, where the impressive Kronborg Castle stands out, before we continue our journey to Copenhagen, arriving in the evening.Note: During holidays or conferences, we may stay in Malmö, a Swedish city located 25 km from Copenhagen and connected by a stunning suspension bridge.

In the morning, we’ll enjoy a panoramic city tour with a local guide of the Danish capital, known for its exceptional quality of life, commitment to sustainability and rich cultural life. We’ll see The Little Mermaid, Nyhavn harbor with its colorful historic buildings, the exterior of Amalienborg Palace, home to the Danish royal family, the Town Hall Square, and the Tivoli Park area. After that we’ll leave for the south of Denmark. In Gedser we’ll take a two-hour ferry to cross to Germany. We’ll arrive in Warnemünde and continue towards Berlin, arriving at the end of the day.Note: If only a few passengers are traveling between Copenhagen and Berlin, this route may be completed using a regular passenger line without altering the content of this stage’s itinerary.
