We will wake up in MANNHEIM, the university town on the Rhine and Necka rivers, and a city closely linked to the car industry. It is in Manheim that Karl Drais built the first two-wheeled vehicle in 1817 and where Carl Benz´s first automobile was seen rolling through the streets in 1886. From there we will go to visit HEIDELBERG, a city known for its 14th century University and its beautiful palace on top of the hill. Overnight sailing.

We’ll wake up in Mainz, the city where Johannes Gutenberg invented the movable-type printing press. Its historic center, crowned by its thousand-year-old cathedral, contrasts beautifully with the vibrancy of this modern university city. At 09:00 a.m., passengers must vacate their cabins, though luggage can be stored at reception until departure time. After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of Mainz (please check compatibility with flight schedules), after which our services will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
