Welcome to your Europamundo Travel Circuit! We depart from AMSTERDAM heading toward the traditional heart of the country, entering the tranquility of ELBURG, a small walled gem by Lake Veluwemeer. We will stroll through its charming old town, with cobblestone streets, period houses, and a historic harbor that connects us with the region’s fishing past.

Our journey continues to GIETHOORN, one of the most picturesque villages in Europe. Nicknamed the “Venice of the North,” we will sail through its canals aboard an electric whisper boat, enjoying the silence, wooden bridges, and gardens that look like something out of a fairytale.

After lunch, we head north to GRONINGEN, a vibrant university city full of art, history, and local atmosphere. We will have free time to explore its pedestrian center, visit the iconic Forum, or simply relax among cafés and terraces.

After breakfast, we head east to visit the impressive fortress of BOURTANGE, a star-shaped structure perfectly reconstructed that takes us back to the 16th century. Here we will discover its military history, strolling among bastions, cannons, and traditional houses that recreate life from another time.

We continue south to DEVENTER, a Hanseatic city with a rich cultural tradition and a charming medieval center. We will have free time to enjoy its main square, stroll through its streets filled with bookstores, independent shops, and cozy cafés.

We end the day in APELDOORN, a city surrounded by forests, known for the majestic Het Loo Palace, former residence of the royal family. Time for a walk. Dinner on your own and overnight stay in the area of Apeldoorn.

We begin the day with a visit to the spectacular De Haar Castle, the largest and most luxurious in the NETHERLANDS. This architectural gem is surrounded by French-style gardens, and its interior reveals the life of the aristocracy in all its splendor and opulence.

Next, we head to GOUDA, where we can have lunch in its charming square and enjoy the visit to the Gouda Cheese Experience, an interactive exhibition about the country’s most famous cheese, which concludes with a delicious tasting.

In the afternoon, we return to AMSTERDAM, where this alternative route comes to an end perfect for the colder months, without giving up the cultural, historical, and culinary essence of the Netherlands.
