
Welcome to Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

-Additional Nights: If you requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival at the hotel, but your trip guide will only contact you when the included activities begin. At the reception, you will find an information board with our staff’s telephone number and hours of assistance. Until then, you have free time to enjoy at your leisure. The hotel staff can assist you with any information you need.

If these activities are available on the Europamundo app or through your "My Trip" link, we strongly recommend booking them as early as possible to ensure availability. Berlin
08:00 a.m. – Berlin (confirm schedule at hotel reception). We’ll begin our panoramic tour of Berlin with a local guide, lasting approximately two and a half hours. From the bus, we’ll see Museum Island, the Television Tower, the central shopping streets, the old cathedral destroyed in World War II, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and the city’s large parks. We’ll also leave the coach to explore the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum, two powerful landmarks that remind us of Germany’s difficult history in the previous century. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the city at your leisure. Optionally, you can visit Potsdam with its gardens, Sanssouci Palace, and Cecilienhof Palace.

Scenery: Plains with vast cultivated fields, coniferous forests, and charming rural villages that preserve their traditional essence.
08:00 a.m. - Departure from Berlin. We’ll travel through the heart of Lower Saxony, crossing peaceful countryside dotted with farmland and small villages.
11:30 a.m. - Wolfsburg. Arrival in a city established in 1938 as a planned community for workers of the Volkswagen factory. Today, the entire city revolves around this iconic German automobile manufacturer. Tickets to the Autostadt are included, where you’ll enjoy beautifully designed gardens and exhibitions dedicated to the history and future of mobility. You’ll have free time to explore and enjoy lunch.
01:45 p.m. - Departure from Wolfsburg.
03:00 p.m. - Celle. We’ll stop in what is considered one of Germany’s most picturesque towns. Its historic center showcases exquisite half-timbered houses from the 16th and 17th centuries, a Baroque church, and an imposing Renaissance palace. You’ll also find fine examples of Bauhaus architecture, reflecting the town’s unique blend of tradition and modernity.
04:30 p.m. - Departure from Celle.
05:30 p.m. - Hannover. Arrival in the capital of Lower Saxony, a vibrant city known for its economic and cultural importance. Here, elegant historical buildings coexist with striking modern architecture and expansive green parks. You’ll have time to explore at your own pace.

09:45 a.m. – Rammelsberg Mines. We will learn about the history and operation of this former industrial complex, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Although the mines were exploited since the Middle Ages for non-ferrous metal production, their peak came at the end of the 16th century when they became a major silver mining center. Entrance to the museum is included.
11:00 a.m. – Departure from the mines.
11:15 a.m. – Goslar. Stop to explore this town that once held the status of Free Imperial City, with a magnificent medieval old town designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include the Market Square with its fountain crowned by an imperial eagle, as well as the Guild Hall. Time to stroll among half-timbered houses, cobblestone streets, and the majestic Church of St. Peter.
12:45 p.m. – Departure from Goslar.
2:00 p.m. – Göttingen. Time to explore the historic old town and have lunch in this city whose university—considered the best in Germany—has educated many figures of great importance in European and world history. You’ll be surprised to discover the tributes to many of them on marble plaques scattered throughout the city.
4:00 p.m. – Departure from Göttingen. We continue our journey through Thuringia, traveling past rivers, hills, and green valleys.
4:45 p.m. – Bad Sooden. Brief stop to visit this small and picturesque spa town nestled among mountains, beautifully preserved and known for its many healing springs.
5:45 p.m. – Departure from Bad Sooden.
6:45 p.m. – Eisenach. Arrival in this city with a splendid Baroque and Renaissance old town, home to the birthplace of Bach—one of the greatest composers in music history—and the house where Martin Luther, the theologian and monk who launched the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century, spent much of his childhood. Dinner included and transfer to the hotel.

Eisenach - Gotha - Erfurt - Lepizig

Scenery: We’ll journey through the lush, green heart of Germany, surrounded by magnificent forests and medieval towns where church spires and towers rise above red-tiled rooftops.
Note: We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the visit to Wartburg Castle.
After breakfast, we’ll visit the magnificent Wartburg Castle (tickets included), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fortress holds a key place in history as the location where Martin Luther translated the New Testament into German, making the Scriptures accessible to the general public and laying the foundation for Protestantism.
Later, we’ll have free time for lunch in Eisenach. If you’re passionate about music, you may want to visit the Bach House, dedicated to one of the greatest composers in history. Alternatively, you can explore the Automobile Museum (admission included), located in the former main plant of East Germany’s automobile industry, home to a fascinating collection of vintage vehicles.

02:15 p.m. – Gotha. We’ll make a brief stop to explore the medieval heart of the city, where you’ll see beautiful buildings from the early days of industrialization. From the outside, we’ll admire the immense Baroque palace—one of the largest in Germany.
03:30 p.m. – Departure from Gotha.
04:00 p.m. – Erfurt. Arrival in the capital of Thuringia, a vibrant city with a remarkably well-preserved historic center. You’ll see its majestic cathedral and numerous churches, towers, and chapels in impressive German Gothic style. A highlight of the city is the Krämerbrücke, a stunning medieval bridge that has been continuously inhabited for over 500 years. At 120 meters in length, it is the longest bridge with buildings in all of Europe.
05:30 p.m. – Departure from Erfurt.
07:30 p.m. – Leipzig. We’ll arrive in the early evening in one of Germany’s cultural and historical treasures. Leipzig was home to renowned composers such as Bach and Wagner. It was a major industrial hub during the East German era, and today, it’s a dynamic city of over half a million people.

Leipzig - Dresden - Prague

08:15 a.m. - Monument to the Battle of the Nations. We’ll make a brief stop just outside Leipzig at this monument, inaugurated in 1913 and standing 91 meters tall. It commemorates a famous battle from the Napoleonic Wars.

10:00 a.m. - Dresden. We’ll explore the capital of Saxony, known as the "Florence on the Elbe" for its baroque and renaissance architecture and palaces, which evoke the city’s glorious history, and its beautiful promenades along the Elbe River. There will be time for lunch.
02:00 p.m. - Departure from Dresden. We’ll cross into the Czech Republic, enjoying scenic landscapes of hills and forests along the way.
04:15 p.m. - Prague. Upon arrival, we’ll include a tour of the city with a local guide, lasting approximately two and a half hours. We’ll begin with a walking tour of Prague’s oldest district, including the Prague Castle and the surrounding citadel, with its churches and palaces, offering breathtaking views of the "City of a Hundred Spires." We’ll then continue to Prague’s Lesser Quarter, known as Mala Strana, crossing the Vltava River on the iconic Charles Bridge, a masterpiece of architecture and sculpture. From here, you’ll enjoy a beautiful panorama of the city before we enter Stare Mesto, home to one of the most beautiful squares in Central Europe. Here you’ll find the Tyn Church and the famous Town Hall with its astronomical clock and chimes.
We’ll conclude our tour in the city center, an area filled with traditional breweries and lively local atmosphere.

11:00 a.m. - Lednice. Free time to explore this charming town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its stunning Neo-Gothic castle surrounded by vast gardens and scenic landscaped parks in a serene natural setting.
12:00 p.m. - Departure from Lednice. Our journey will continue through Slovakia before entering Hungary.
02:15 p.m. - Gyor. Free time to explore and have lunch in Hungary’s sixth-largest city, located along the Danube River. Gyor boasts a rich history and well-preserved architecture, with a historic center featuring cobblestone streets, Baroque and medieval buildings, and an impressive cathedral. (Depending on traffic, lunch may be taken at a service area before reaching Gyor.)

In the evening, we’ll include a transfer to the pedestrian area, a lively district filled with small restaurants and vibrant nightlife.

In the morning, we’ll begin a three-hour guided city tour. We’ll admire the many bridges spanning the Danube, as well as the lively commercial district of Pest with its grand avenues, and the historic Buda district, including the iconic Fisherman’s Bastion.

10:15 a.m. - Bratislava. We’ll arrive in the capital of Slovakia, located on the banks of the Danube River. Free time to stroll through its charming historic center, nestled at the foot of the impressive castle.
11:45 a.m. - Departure from Bratislava. We’ll continue our journey northwest through Slovakia.
01:30 p.m. - Trencin. Free time to explore and have lunch in this picturesque medieval town, set in a valley beneath the White Carpathians, which form the border with the Czech Republic. Trencin is known for its impressive castle and lively historic center.
03:30 p.m. - Departure from Trencin. We’ll continue our journey through scenic forests and rolling hills as we head toward Poland.

08:00 a.m. - We’ll begin our guided tour of Krakow, lasting approximately two hours. This medieval city is home to Poland’s oldest university, where Copernicus once studied. We’ll explore the Market Square with its artisan stalls, visit St. Mary’s Church, and walk along the Royal Route, where remnants of the old city walls still stand. We’ll also visit Wawel Castle and Cathedral, where Polish royalty was crowned and laid to rest. After the tour, you’ll have free time to stroll and have lunch.
11:00 a.m. - Departure from Krakow.
12:00 p.m. - Brief stop in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, a small town set in a picturesque landscape, famous for its monastery complex and chapels. Known as the "Calvary," it is a significant pilgrimage site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

01:15 p.m. - Wadowice. Free time to explore and have lunch in the city best known as the birthplace of Pope John Paul II, Karol Wojtyła.

03:15 p.m. - Auschwitz-Birkenau. We’ll visit one of the most somber sites in European history—the Nazi concentration and extermination camp where over a million people lost their lives during World War II. We’ll explore Birkenau (camp II), where trains from all over Europe arrived.

Warsaw - Poznan

After breakfast, we’ll enjoy an included panoramic tour of Warsaw with a local guide. This city of nearly two million people, Poland’s political and economic hub, is both classic and modern, traditional and cosmopolitan, continually reborn. We’ll explore the charming Old Town, with its historic buildings, Royal Palace, and cobblestone streets, all beautifully restored after their destruction in World War II and now recognized as a World Heritage Site. We’ll also visit the iconic Palace of Culture, a skyscraper gifted by the Soviet Union, reflect on the former largest Jewish ghetto in Europe, and stroll through Lazienkowski Park, home to the Chopin Monument. Around 2:30 p.m., after some time for a walk and lunch, we’ll depart for Pomerania until we reach our next stop: Poznan, an active city with a magnificent main square and vibrant atmosphere. You’ll have some time to explore.
